public art

Local public art is something that every established muralist will involve into with great enthusiasm. My experience include art performances, chalk art, mural paintings and design.

Mural vs Graffiti

Though graffiti is, in fact, a part of mural art, the common explanation is that the difference between murals and graffiti lies within author's intention. Graffiti is perceived as street art created without permission, usually made with spray paint, while mural art is done professionally using traditional brush, though it can also involve airbrush.

As an artist, I prefer doing murals, therefore, I call myself a muralist.
